This organization is against the human
“The so-called ‘DAESH’ organization has difficul-
ties understanding, translating and justifying texts.
Since they do not use Islamic schools of law as refer-
ence, they have created their own religion, beliefs and
methods of worship and dealings,” columnist Abdul-
Aziz Khuraibet wrote for Al-Shahid daily.
“This organization is against the Arab Islamic and Gulf social structure, specifically Kuwait. Its members have their own political interests and in the service of others who do not want peace and stability for the GCC countries, particularly Kuwait.
“Therefore, having sympathizers for this group amongst us is a grave danger at all levels, because we are one and Allah will not judge us based on our reli- gious affiliations. For those amongst us who still feel the urge to join this group, they should think twice before it’s too late. The bloodshed and destruction that you cause are not for religious purposes, they are for personal agenda. Moreover, the blood is for your brothers and sisters in humanity, before you even be- came brothers and sisters in the name of religion.”

Stick to basic principles of Islam
“FIGHTING sectarianism requires significant and
persistent efforts from individuals, the community,
and the various State authorities, institutions and edu-
cational and cultural sectors to contain this menace,”
columnist Abdulaziz Khuraibet wrote for Al-Shahed
daily.
“But casting doubts and insulting the followers of a doctrine and religion or practicing violence of the Islamic State (IS) or the so-called ‘DAESH’ and the brutality adopted by this group to kill others, will cer- tainly not help solve the current sectarian dilemma.
“In this regard, history has taught us that when we impose a specific idea, opinion, doctrine or re- ligion on others, we achieve nothing but help pro- mote struggles and these struggles then develop into bloody conflicts and wars among various compo- nents of the society.
“Meanwhile, we would like to pinpoint here that the basics in Islam are too obvious because this sub- lime religion always calls for unity of the nation as long as the components of the nation are committed to the basic constituents, and this means the sub top- ics which recognize one sect from the other, can be ignored, particularly since we know the crucial reli- gious text emphasizes the significance of achieving unity and cooperation among Muslims.
“But using sectarian terrorism to serve a specific doctrine during a specific time and under specific circumstances to achieve political purposes will only create disharmony and promote discord and kill citi- zens in the particular community.
“In this context, we have observed how some peo- ple manage their commercial interests by promoting sectarian slogans, attempt to brainwash people and help sow the seeds of hostility
and hatred in the society.
“In other words, the people instead of ingraining faith and remaining committed to reli- gious values and promoting them in society, actually pro- mote religious hypocrisy which does not serve any denomina- tion in Islam.
“It is needless to say Islam is
built on basic pillars and there
is no need to undermine the im-
age of this sublime religion by
inserting some strange ideas into it to aggravate the dogmatic problems which have developed as a result of undue pressures and wrong practices.
“In this respect history has taught us that the prob- lems cannot be easily solved. Such being the case, we have no choice, but to abide by the text of the Holy Quran and the sublime Sunna of Prophet Muham- mad, Peace Be Upon Him.
“The need of the hour is to update the religious address and many authorities are seriously striving to realize religious reforms and promote thought through religious sermons, symposiums, curriculum and modern books to keep abreast with the contem- porary developments away from the historic con- flicts.
“Apart from the above, we have to keep in mind the importance of actualizing the common thoughts which all components of the nation agree upon to protect the sects and their doctrines from others, pro- vided this recognition does not constitute a ground for differences and conflicts among various compo- nents of the nation.
“In this context, we say the difference over certain issues, is a humanitarian case that is always inherent to humans everywhere, because of some difference in thought and tendencies and this calls for tolerance and harmony.
“Such being the case, stirring the differences among various components can never be justified and this means the people must deal with each other through the spirit of tolerance and protect the rights of every individual in the community without any type of prejudice, since this shall represent an ideal manner to encounter global terrorism.”
